Trnovačko Lake is at foot of Maglić and Volujak , at far northwest of Montenegro. The lake is difficult for access and can be reached from Plužine and Foča side, with several hour hike in both cases. For this reason, it is mostly visited by trekkers, but also fishermen, as the lake is teeming in high quality fish.Trnovačko Lake is at 1517 m, around 600 meters in diameter and is heart shaped varying at its depth. His dark green color is enchanting makes it looks like an emerald tucked in the surrounding mountains. Its shape and an impressive surrounding make it probably the most beautiful lake in the region. Perućica, one of the last primeval forests in Europe in the near proximity.
