Primeval forest Perucica is a part of "Sutjeska" National Park. It is surrounded by the peaks of Maglic (2386m - the highest mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina), Volujak (1978m) and Snjeznica (1804m). Perucica forest is separated from Zelengora Mountain by Sutjeska River and its beautiful canyon. The forest is 6 km long and 1 to 3 km wide. It covers an area of 1291 hectares.
